Does the idea of George Zimmerman taking part in a "celebrity" boxing match sicken you? Do you want to see his name disappear from the news headlines? Have you had about enough of all of the recent rumors swirling around out there about him? If so, we have a simple solution for you: Go sign this petition.

The petition—which is called "Stop George Zimmerman and Promoter Damon Feldman from using murder & racial hate in America for Profit"—was created to try and stop Zimmerman and Feldman from arranging a boxing match between Zimmerman and Game, Zimmerman and DMX, or Zimmerman and, well, anyone. And it needs at least 100,000 signatures by March 4 in order to get a response from the White House. Currently, it only has about 2,500 signatures on it. But it's only existed for about a day now, so there's still plenty of time for you to sign it if you're opposed to Zimmerman's latest publicity stunt.

"The entire idea of this event is to use racial tension to lure people in to purchase the event," the petition says. "This will only hurt America as it will continue to stir up racial tensions that have been ongoing in this nation for quite some time. No Promoter or Celebrity Boxer should ever be allowed to use racial tension to profit."

Agreed. And if you agree, too, go sign the petition. Now.
