When Danny Granger was traded to the 76ers last week in exchange for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen, the former Pacers star was not happy. But as it turns out, his stint in Philly was a short one. Earlier this afternoon, the Sixers announced that they had agreed to buy out Granger's contract.

"Given Danny's future goals and his desire to pursue them, we worked to fulfill his requests and have come to a resolution that we feel is mutually beneficial to both Danny and our organization," Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie said.

So what are Granger's "future goals"? We don't know. But we would assume that they would include trying to win a championship. So we should see Granger sign with a playoff contender sometime soon. Early reports are that the Clipperscould be the frontrunners to obtain Granger's services. But we'll just have to wait and see where he chooses to sign in the coming days.
