When a new Rinspeed concept is unveiled, it's usually something so hilariously insane that we take it as a joke. This is, of course, the design house that made the four passenger bus and the roadster that accordions into a GT. Crazy is par for the course.
The Tesla-based Rinspeed Xchange, on the other hand, isn't a terrible idea. It's working on the safe assumption that when autonomous vehicle technology hits the mainstream, people won't want to just sit there staring at the road. They'll want to get shit done. That's why the interior of this car is designed to rearrange itself into an office or a movie theatre while the car drives.
Not a bad idea.
