If you drive an Aston Martin with a model year of 2008 or greater, you might have a counterfeit on your hands. The sports car manufacturer just found out the subcontractor that molded the accelerator pedal arms for 75 percent of the cars used plastic material from another company. Because of this, Aston Martin is recalling 17,590 whips

The NHTSA discovered the parts could break and increase the risk of crashes. Aston Martin says it hasn't received any reports of any accidents related to the issue. How nice of Aston Martin, but it might have something to do with the fix having a "small financial impact."
