Have you ever wished that you could take a scooter, a bicycle, and a pair of Rollerblades, put them into a blender, and combine them into one super-powered mode of transportation? Er, probably not. A company called AeYO did have that wish recently, though, and the result is the new AeYO scooter, which is being billed as "the first scooter that uses a skating motion as the basis of its locomotion."

So what is it? Well, it's basically a pair of inline skates attached to the front end of a bike with some funky legs that are designed to help propel the scooter forward. As you can see in the clip above, the AeYO was created to give you a full-body workout while you skate and provide a safer ride than just a scooter, just a bike, or just Rollerblades. It's not quite as easy as it looks to get going. But once you get the hang of it, the AeYO looks like it provides a great workout.

There are two problems with the AeYO, though. The first one is that it costs $600. So you're really going to have to think long and hard before you invest in one. And the second one is that it looks really, really weird. Can you imagine all of the looks you're going to get on this thing? You'd look flyer on a Citi Bike.

So with all of that in mind, the AeYO scooter is either the coolest thing ever—or the dumbest. After watching the video above, which do you think it is?
