Rappers, take note. Those million-dollar Bugattis are cool and all, but if you really want to ball out, you should cop a vintage Ferrari. Nothing boosts your status like dropping $39 million for a 1957 250 Testarossa.
Millionaire investor Eric Heerema just sold the prototype driven by Formula One champion Phil Hull to an anonymous buyer. Obviously the buyer wasn't a rapper because staying anonymous is not a very rapper thing to do. What good is such an exquisite car if everyone doesn't know you have it?
The sale makes the Testarossa the most expensive car ever sold in Britain. The previous record was held by a Ferrari 250 GTO, also sold by Heerema. We'll take this is as proof the dude knows a little somethin somethin about investing.
