Hey, do you want to win $1 billion? HAHA. Obviously, the answer to that question is yes. And in a little more than a month, you're going to get your chance to do it.
Warren Buffett and Dan Gilbert are teaming up to hold the craziest NCAA Tournament contest of all time. In the past, companies have promised to give away thousands and even millions of dollars to people who were able to fill out their NCAA tournament brackets perfectly. But this year, Buffett and Gilbert are promising to give away $1 billion—yes, $1 billion!—to whoever is able to complete the impossible task of filling out a blemish-free tournament bracket. The winner of the contest, assuming there is one, will receive either 40 annual payouts of $25 million or the option of receiving a $500 million lump sum payment. And the best part of all? It's going to be completely free to enter the contest.
There's a pretty good chance that you won't win the $1 billion contest. According to a piece that USA Today ran last March, you have a 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 chance of filling out a perfect bracket. But hey, it's worth a shot, right? RIGHT.
