The sports world can be a great experience for professional athletes, but there are some equally sad moments. One is trade talks. Fans have fun with trade machines and mercilessly boo and demand that players get traded because of a number of factors including poor performance.
It's never that simple for athletes. Take for instance this clip from Open Gym on nba.com. In the clip, the Toronto Raptors players slowly find out that forwards Rudy Gay and Quincy Acy and center Aaron Gray have been traded to the Sacramento Kings.
You can see the genuine feeling of sadness from Raptors teammates as they find out about the trade, and Aaron Gray's handling of being traded is a unique experience to watch and adds significant layers to the simple idea of what trades do beyond moving players to different teams.
