For the most part, 2013 sucked for Rory McIlroy. After winning the PGA's Player of the Year award in 2012, he didn't win any majors in 2013. He didn't qualify for the PGA's Tour Championship. And his most notable "accomplishment" was walking off the course in the middle of a tournament with a toothache. Not very good.
But McIlroy finished off 2013 on a high note last night by announcing his engagement to tennis star Caroline Wozniacki:

So maybe 2013 wasn't so bad after all for McIlroy. We just hope he can get his game together again in 2014.
