Since 2002, Rio Ferdinand has been a member of Manchester United, but that may come to an end this summer. According to Metro UK, Ferdinand has already been offered a one-year deal to stay in Old Trafford, however, reports are circulating that the 35-year-old will decline the contract and instead, take a two-year deal with...the L.A. Galaxy. Given Rio's age, the MLS seems to be a step in the right direction. Sure, his presence will be missed by the Red Devils but a stateside move seems to be the obvious choice for a talented, well known player getting up there in years.
