Is This T-Shirt That Was Created for New Texas Football Coach Charlie Strong Racist?

We would say so.

We know that this will probably come as a complete shock to a lot of you (not!), but there are some people out there who are not happy about the fact that Charlie Strong is replacing Mack Brown as the new head football coach at the University of Texas. Reason being: Well, we'll let you put two and two together.  But this T-shirt might help illustrate it:

The T-shirt—which may or may not have been inspired by the name of the popular TV show Orange is the New Black—was created by an Etsy seller recently and put up for sale for $19.95. Not surprisingly, the shirt was removed over the weekend. But before it was taken down, someone grabbed an image of it as well as a description that the Etsy seller provided for it.

"After 16 years as head coach of the Longhorns, Mack Brown is stepping down to make way for Charlie Strong as the new head coach," the description said. "Celebrate Charlie Strong's arrival in style."

Riiiiiiight. Because who doesn't want to "celebrate" with a T-shirt like this? SMH.
