Prior to giving his State of the Union address last night, President Obama had just one thing on his mind: College basketball. Specifically, the Commander-in-Chief wanted to watch the Michigan State/Iowa game on ESPN. And since he is the President, he was able to turn the game on and…Uh, wait, what's that? He wasn't allowed to watch the game?

Nope. Believe it or not, the President of the United States of America—the President of the United States of America!—doesn't have control of the remote control in the U.S. Capitol. So rather than watching ESPN last night, he got stuck watching (ugh!) C-SPAN:

Think about this moment the next time your significant other tells you to shut a game off. Not even the POTUS gets to watch sports anytime he wants to.
