For months now, LeBron James and Johnny Manziel have been conversing back and forth through text messages. According to Johnny Football, King James texted him regularly during his NCAA investigation last year and frequently checked up on him to see how he was doing. But now, it looks like they're ready to take their relationship to the next level and be more than just texting buddies.
Late last week, we told you about how Manziel was planning on signing with LeBron's business partner Maverick Carter and his company LRMR for marketing purposes as he prepares to enter the 2014 NFL Draft. And Manziel made his decision official yesterday by publicly revealing that Carter will be in his corner once he goes pro. LeBron welcomed him to "the family" last night with this post on Instagram that is about as bromantic as it gets:
Awwwwwww. Is that too stinkin' cute or what?
Seriously, though, we expect these two to be everywhere in the coming months. Now that they're running with the same "family," it's going to be hard to keep them apart. Sorry, Drake!
