We were all expecting the Urus, which seemed almost ready for production, to be a little closer than this, but now we're hearing that the launch of the Italian super-SUV is three years away. That's right, all the Middle-Eastern oil barons, rappers, pro athletes, and attention-seeking 1%-ers with a school run to do are going to have to wait until 2017.

Maybe it's a good thing. Some of the freakishly wealthy are fantastic, kind, and polite people. But other people who have absurd amounts of money often forget how patience works, thus becoming insufferable pricks who should be beaten with a mackerel. Maybe Lamborghini is ready to launch this car, but has decided to dish out a lesson in patience first. The Urus might be a valuable public service.
