Forget friends or close sources, if there is anyone who has a good idea whether or not Carmelo Anthony will stay in New York with the Knicks, it's his wife La La. So, when the topic of Melo's future came up in an interview for Watch What Happens Live, you may want to hear (or read) what she has to say. "I definitely think he will stay," La La Anthony said. "I know that he wants to stay, and I support him wherever he wants to go. "Listen, I used to live in Denver with him. If I can live in Denver, I can live anywhere. I just want him to be happy."

While you can't be too sure considering Anthony does want to, at least, be a free agent and could be persuaded by Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers or the Chicago Bulls, the fact that La La added "definitely" to her statement, it has to make Knicks fans feel a little more reassured. In the end, however, Melo has made it clear that the only thing that matters to him right now is getting that NBA title. And if there is another team that offers him a better opportunity at meeting his only goal, it's very likely Anthony will be saying farewell to the Big Apple.
