There's some very sad news in the world of college football today. According to the Associated Press, the Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating the tragic death of Troy defensive end Jadarius Garner. There aren't many details about the 20-year-old's death available just yet. But he was found dead on the side of U.S. Highway 61 in Bolivar County, Miss. very early yesterday morning. Two cars had reportedly run over his body, but police are still looking into exactly what caused his death.

"This is a terrible tragedy and our thoughts and prayers go out to Jadarius' family in this time of grief," Troy head coach Larry Blakeney said late yesterday. "Jadarius was a well-respected member of our football team and his loss will be felt by all of us."

R.I.P. to the young man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jadarius' family at this time as well.
