We have another snow toy to share with you today. Ken Block, a rally driver for the Hoonigan Racing Division, introduced his latest project: "the ultimate backcountry snowboard expedition vehicle." The Ford F-150 RaptorTRAX is outfitted with Mattracks, snowboard racks, a full roll cage, a rear-mounted winch, an exterior stereo system and bright Rigid Industries lighting. The engine has also been upgraded and to a Whipple supercharged 6.2L V8.
"It’s an absolute beast of a machine," Block says, "and I’m stoked with how it’s turned out. Next up is for me to take it deep into the backcountry ASAP to help me and some friends slay some powder on our snowboards for a video project due out later this year.”
We'll wait dilligently for the video and hope we somehow get a chance to get behind the wheel.
