At this point, we've seen all kinds of vehicles get stuck in sinkholes. From school buses to smart cars, we thought we had seen it all. But as it turns out, we were wrong.
That's because late last week, a fire truck—yes, a gigantic fire truck—got stuck in a sinkhole in Arlington, Va. Unlike other vehicles that you've seen stuck in sinkholes, the fire truck didn't get swallowed whole. But a part of the front end of it did appear to sink down into the sinkhole. Local authorities believe that it happened as a result of a broken water main, and the street that collapsed will remain closed until they are able to repair both the water main and the street.
That thing must have been a bitch to get out of that sinkhole, eh?
