Oregon may get the lethal Marcus Mariota back as its quarterback for 2014, but the Ducks will have to go about their next campaign without De'Anthony Thomas's services. The running back will skip his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.

"Running back" is just his official position, however. Thomas is similar to Darren Sproles in his skill set and diminutive height (the former Duck is just three inches taller at 5 foot 9 inches). His 5,345 career yards is the third most in school history, and he holds the school's record for most kick return yards (1,885) and is fourth in career scoring (278 points). His career at Oregon doesn't end on that great of a note though; he struggled to get back to form after injuring his ankle early in the season.

The team's Instagram page sent the Ducks great off with a post captioned, "He gone. Wishing all the best at the next level for one of Oregon's all-time greats."
