Colin Kaepernick led San Francisco to its third NFC Championship game with a 23-10 win over the Panthers. But forget that! He has some nerve wearing his cap backwards. That's the most unprofessional act a quarterback could do. It goes right up there with wearing tattoos.

Of course that's ridiculous, but writer Sal Maiorana took issue with Kaepernick wearing his hat backwards to conduct interviews. He said in a since deleted tweet, "Kaepernick. Always so media friendly. Turn your cap around and act like a professional quarterback."

The hate came quick:

. @salmaiorana you're a terrible troll. Tell us more about how Kaepernick isn't white.
@salmaiorana Guaranteed the people who just found out you exist are laughing more than you are right now
You should be better than this. Grow up “@salmaiorana: Its so much fun infuriating all of you. What a laugh riot watching my feed blow up.
Can someone please photoshop a backwards Red Sox cap on a @salmaiorana photo? Please.

And here's Maiorana, the supposed professional, with his response:

Its so much fun infuriating all of you. What a laugh riot watching my feed blow up. And I'm the angry one?
