There are a lot of athletes who want to be rappers. And there are just as many rappers who wish that they could be athletes. So when they went to assemble their new "Music Issue" recently, ESPN The Magazine decided to bring the two worlds together by creating not one, not two, but three different covers that feature athletes paired up with rappers.

The first cover features Chris Paul and Kendrick Lamar. The second one features Calvin Johnson and Eminem. And the third features Kobe Bryant and Nicki Minaj. You can check out all three of the covers in the thumbs gallery above.

The issue will hit newsstands later this week. We'll be sure to update you on what's inside of the magazine with regards to the athletes and rappers as soon as we find out more about the issue.
