A Broncos Player Says He Will Walk Home If Denver Wins the Super Bowl on Sunday

Who's going with him?

If the Denver Broncos beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday night, Broncos safety Mike Adams has some big plans. He's not going to hit New York City to party, though. He's also not going to fly back to Denver immediately to celebrate with the Mile High City. He's not even going to pop open a bottle back at his hotel room. Instead, he's going to…walk. And walk. And walk. And walk. And—you guessed it!—walk. Adams is going to walk home if the Broncos win.

"If we win the Super Bowl," Adams told the Denver Post over the weekend, "I'm going to keep my helmet and pads on and I'm walking home."

Now, when Adams says "home," he's not talking about Denver. That would just be insane. Rather, he's talking about Paterson, N.J., the place where he grew up. It's about 12 miles from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.—and it's the first place Adams is going to stop if the Broncos get a W in the big game.

"After I get to the IHOP on Route 3, I'll start hitchhiking," he said. "But they'd probably think I'm just some crazy person."

Crazy? Yes. But if you win a Super Bowl, you deserve to act at least a little crazy, right? Right. So we can't wait to see this happen if the Broncos win.
