Adrian Peterson's 2013 season didn't come close to matching his extraordinary 2012, which is fine since every running back not named Eric Dickerson also failed to do so. Peterson didn't end the season so well though. He missed two out of the Viking's last three games with foot and groin injuries and finished with 1,266 yards, failing to reach the Pro Bowl.

Peterson might have to undergo groin surgery this offseason, too. He's scheduled to meet up with Philadelphia-based specialist Dr. William Meyers next week to decide if he has to go through with a procedure. Perhaps season-ending injuries is Peterson's muse. After all, he did have his best season ever after tearing his ACL.
