Porsche's latest unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show was of the Porsche 911 Targa in both the 4 and 4S versions. The retro-inspired classics include the roof bar that Porsche fans will instantly recognize from the original 65' Targa, as well as a wraparound rear window, but now the roof bar is automated and folds down behind the backseat. The 3.4 liter Targa 4 goes from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds while the 4S shaves off .4 seconds with an additional 50 hp and a top speed of 183mph (compared to 174 for the Targa 4).

If you want to get your hands on either, you better start saving because the Targa 4 starts at $101,600 and the Targa 4S tacks on another $14K. We suspect that these will see a decent roll out by the summer, because who wouldn't want to slide the top back on one of these on a nice warm day?
