Business Insider connected with Kelley Blue Book to find the top selling vehicle in each state between January and August 2013 and compiled the data into the color-coded infographic below. The Ford F-Series dominates most of the country but there are odd pockets like California, Florida, and Oklahoma that inexplicably have different buying habits than their surroundings, the Toyota Tacoma is the ride of choice for handling the beaches and rocky roads of Hawaii, and Alaska, though secluded, shares the country's love of the F-Series. We wish there was more information available that explains why these dozen models outsell all others, but this is still pretty interesting stuff on its own.
