What Jim Harbaugh calls "one of the greatest plays I've ever seen" came after the same player who made that play nearly blew it a few moments prior. NaVorro Bowman misplayed an onside kick against the Falcons to give the struggling team a chance to upset the 49ers. The linebacker had his chance to shine off a mistake, too.
Wide Receiver Harry Douglas juggled the ball to allow Bowman time to swoop in and take it for an amazing 89-yard interception return to win the game (34-24), clinching a playoff berth for the 49ers. It's definitely a fantastic way to send out the storied Candlestick Park. Pandemonium obviously ensued afterward:
NaVorro Bowman goes from goat to Candlestick's last hero. Still many people left in parking lot. Someone tried to rip off seats. Arrest.
