This New York Knicks season just keeps becoming more depressing by the day. It seems impossible that the Knicks are going to be able to claw their way out of the 3-13 hole that they've dug. Iman Shumpert and Carmelo Anthony just recently had a mini-altercation/argument that was seen by the MSG cameras.
Now teammates Metta World Peace and Kenyon Martin are reported to have had an argument as well. During a team workout and before Sunday's game against New Orleans the two veterans did have an argument:
The two veteran forwards did not come to blows, but the back and forth was described as “intense” by one source with knowledge of the dust-up. World Peace and Martin smoothed things over."
So at least if the Knicks don't make the Playoffs, they'll have a draft pick. Oh wait? They dealt their 2014 and 2016 first round draft picks as well as four second round draft picks through 2017. Looks like it might be a tough few years in New York with the toxicity rising daily in the Knicks locker room.
