Believe it or not, this is what's supposed happen in a high-speed crash. Many supercars are designed to split in two during serious wrecks. This Ferrari 458 Italia did just that after the driver lost control doing 140 mph and hit a pole. The driver went into a coma (can't say we're surprised) and, according to Zero 2 Turbo, "I think the passenger suffered extensive injuries."
Here's to hoping the two of them speedy recoveries. We'd say the same thing about the car but, well, it probably won't live to see another day.
