Hybrid bicycles, yo.

Here we were impressed by the advancement of electric technology in cars while being totally unaware of its application in bicycles. Now we know that some whizzes at MIT partnered with the city of Copenhagen to develop a wheel that can turn any bicycle into a hybrid. That's right, just the wheel. You don't even have to go out and purchase a whole new bicycle.

The rear wheel stores power you generate while braking or going downhill. It then uses that energy later to power the bicycle in case you need a breather. But that's not it. It also learns how you pedal and can sync with your smartphone. Why should cars have all the electric fun?
