If you were to ask Ohio Wesleyan University's Caroline Welker about her Thanksgiving, she would have one hell of a response. That's because, at around 12:17 A.M. on Nov. 28, Welker was crossing at the intersection of Sandusky Street and Central Avenue when officer Mark Jackson came zooming in his cop car and struck the OWU junior. As you can see in the video above, Welker was sent around 10-15 feet following the impact by the vehicle. Officer Jackson was charged with failure to yield.

If you haven't checked out the clip just yet, we should tell you that it's just painful to watch. Welker told NBC4 Caroline told NBC4, "I have a concussion, and I'm really sore. But thankfully no broken bones." Great news considering it could've been a lot worse. Get better soon, Caroline.
