Carmelo Anthony Sprains Ankle Against Orlando

New York's injury bugs spread.

Apparently staying healthy is a hassle when it comes to professional basketball in New York. Brook Lopez had the season-ending foot injury only a few games after Deron WIlliams came back from injury. The Knicks aren't safe from the injury bug either.

New York just got Raymond Felton back in time to face the Magic, but the Knicks again couldn't catch a break. Carmelo Anthony sprained his left ankle as they were blowing out Orlando in the third quarter.

This is particularly bad because New York showed it can fall apart with Anthony. The team almost crumbled as Orlando brought themselves well within striking distance before barely surviving in a 103-98 win. The Christmas Day game against the Thunder ought to be fun if Anthony can't play.
