Anthony Davis Breaks Hand Against the Knicks

Very unfortunate given how well the season has been going for him.

The Pelicans also took advantage of the Knicks on Sunday when they won, 103-99. It's a pretty shallow victory though, because New Orleans is going to be playing with Anthony Davis for the next few games. The forward broke his left hand (it's specifically a non-displaced fracture) against New York in the first half. There isn't a timetable set for his return.

It's unfortunate because Davis has really been making his presence known this season. He was averaging 19.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, and an NBA-leading 3.9 blocks per game. The Pelicans will be aching to have this type of production back in its lineup.
