The Impala has one of the most diverse histories of any car. It's always been an enormous family-hauler, but it was also the first Chevy SS, it became an iconic hip-hop cars and heavily relates to the 16 switches and lowrider crews, it flipped to the darkside and became a police car, and most recently has become known as more of a fleet car. That was before the newest model came out, a completely transformed vehicle that tries to bury the boring shell of a car that it had become. We had it for a weekend and really enjoyed our time in it. Here's what we noticed.
