In what's been more of an offense friendly contest between the two rivals, LSU is hanging in there with Alabama. Crimson Tide is winning 14-17 at halftime, but it's possible LSU would've been winning if it wasn't for the mistakes. One of them was this botched snap to quarterback Zach Mettenberger. There was a bit of confusion in the snap count and Mettenberger's groin had to pay for it. Alabama recovered the resulting fumble and converted it to a field goal. There's still half the game remaining, so let's see if the rest of the action is above the belt.
