ICYMI: Volkswagen Brought the Fierce GTI Design Vision Concept Back Out in L.A.

Would it actually look this aggressive, though?

The coolest VW at the L.A. Auto Show Isn't new. That doesn't mean we don't love oogling it. Debuted originally in May of this year at the Wörthersee gathering, this is the GTI Design Vision Concept. It's cutting, it's tiny, it's fast as hell, and it'll eat you and your silly little hot hatch toy like Anthony Davis nomming on guards trying to drive to the hoop.

Volkswagen threw a 3.0L VR6 in the bay and transformed it into a 503hp, 413lb-ft monster that rallied the road with all-wheel drive and a DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. VW pegs its 0-60 at 3.9 seconds, and can gallop to 186 mph (the same top speed as the new Jaguar F-Type R, FYI). Klaus Bischoff said this is a sign of things to come. We can only pray that he's not fibbing.
