Tony Allen Got Kicked Out of the Grizzlies/Clippers Game Last Night for Kicking Chris Paul in the Face (Video)

Grizzlies guard Tony Allen was voted to the 2013 NBA All-Defensive First Team last season. So it's obvious that he's a guy who will do anything to stop opposing players on the defensive side of the ball. But last night, he took things a step too far—literally, a step too far—when he stopped Chris Paul from getting off an easy shot by kicking him in the face. Check out the clip above to see how Allen managed to get his foot up high enough to hit Paul in the face with it on a drive.

Allen checked on Paul after the hit and also apologized to CP3 on Twitter after the game:

But he's probably going to get a fine from the NBA any minute now. Because while it didn't look like Allen kicked Paul on purpose, this was definitely a dangerous play and could have ended up being a lot worse than it was.
