This has turned into the week of apologies in the world of sports. Glen "Big Baby" Davis has issued an apology. Matt Barnes has issued one, too. And now, Rob Gronkowski has continued the trend by issuing an apology of his own.

Earlier this week, a video of the Patriots tight end making a joke about an Asian man at a party last weekend surfaced, courtesy of TMZ. In the video, Gronk watches the man dance for a few seconds before yelling, "They told me he could only cook fried rice!" But his joke didn't sit well with a lot of people. So earlier today, he apologized for his behavior during the party.

"I feel bad, personally," he said. "I feel bad. I talked to [the fan] and he assured me that he took no offense in any way. I know others did, and I apologize to those who took offense."

It's not the most wholehearted apology ever. But it's about what you would expect from a guy like Gronk. Do you think he owes it to the man in the video and everyone who was offended to issue an apology that sounds a little bit more formal?
