We've been getting this Jonathan Martin/Richie Incognito bullying scandal wrong. This is according to none other than Incognito of course.
Incognito spoke with FOX Sports to defend himself against the allegations that's led to him being suspended indefinitely from the Dolphins. One of the more interesting parts of the to-be-aired interview is how he claims he was on Martin's side. This is despite the public's knowledge of the voicemail where he uses the N-word and the disgracefulthings that was said about Martin's sister. Martin has also claimed Incognito has physically attacked him, although teammates believe this isn't the case.
"This isn't an issue about bullying, this is of mine and Jon's relationship," Incognito say."You can ask anyone in the Miami locker room, 'Who had Jon Martin's back the absolute most?' and they'll undoubtedly tell you me."
This is even harder to believe given the increasing amount of details coming out that's related to Incognito, including his linemen meetings in the strip clubs, the use of the N-Word at a bar, and how the Dolphins had to deal with him allegedly molesting a female golf volunteer during a May 2012 charity golf tournament. But the Incognito/Martin is being investigated and the truth may come out soon.
