It looked like it was going to be another Sunday, another win for the Broncos as they were finishing off their victory against the Chargers. They won 28-20 but not without a potentially casualty happening to the worst possible player: Peyton Manning. The quarterback took a hit in the leg within the final two minutes of regulation and was seen limping afterward. The hit was particularly worrisome since Manning had to battle two high ankle sprains a few weeks back.
Manning will make sure he didn't suffer a serious injury on Monday. “I’m pretty sore. They kind of got me twice in that lower area…get an MRI tomorrow and will know more then," he told Broncos media. Manning is the best thing that's happened to the Broncos in the past couple of years, so it's understandable if fans are holding their breath. He went for 330 yards and four touchdowns in another solid performance today.
