The Nurburgring has been called "the green hell" and "the graveyard" for a reason, and that reason is that it's a really, really dangerous track. It's long enough that it's not easy to memorize, it's full of really difficult corners, and on most days, since it's a public toll road, it's chock full of amateurs with way more ambition than talent.
As a result, a lot of people screw up a lot of nice cars on the 'ring, and then they get billed for the section of ARMCO barrier that they ruined. Yeah, the rules of the 'ring are harsh, but fair.
If you're going to learn one thing from this video, it should be that if you ever drive the 'ring, you shouldn't mess around on Brünnchen.
