Remember the Saleen S7? Of course you do, it wasn't just one of the most awesome American cars ever made, but it was also the choice of a man with all the powers of God himself in Bruce Almighty. That's quite an endorsement.
We were teased with the S5S Raptor concept (shown) in 2008, but the recession promptly beat that machine into the ground. Now word is coming out of Saleen, which Steve Saleen took control of once more last year, that a new supercar is in the works. "We haven't forgotten about the supercar genre," said Steve Saleen. "We are working on what we'll call the 'S8' and the continuation of the American supercar.
We're excited.
