Jason Kidd fooled almost no one when he conveniently spilled his drink during this week's game against the Lakers. The majority of people privy to Kidd's trick included the league's execs, who hit him with a hefty $50,000 fine. So with the paycheck hit and another loss tallied, Kidd finally admitted he spilled his drink on purpose.
"It's about trying to win and those guys in that locker room, and I tried to put those guys in a position to get a basket, a good look and we did," Kidd said.
Well, Kidd does get some kudos for trying to get his team a win. Still, this is a desperate act that shows again that he doesn't know what to do to steer his 4-12 Nets.
