On Tuesday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement concluded that the DNA from the underwear of the woman accusing him of sexual battery, which was obtained through a sexual assault kit on Dec. 7, 2012, matches up with Jameis Winston. In addition, the analysis determined that "the chance of the DNA in the woman's underwear being a match for someone other than Winston was one in 2.2 trillion."
While this finding doesn't prove that Winston did indeed sexually assault the accuser in late 2012, it does prove that Florida State's freshman quarterback was, at least, associated with the female on the night in question. So far, Winston has not been questioned by Tallahassee police. You know, the same people who advised the accuser to "think long and hard" before pressing charges against Jameis.
In the meantime, state attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit William Meggs has revealed that affidavits have been submitted for two people who were supposedly with Winston and the accuser on Dec. 7, 2012. There is still uncertainty as to whether or not charges will be filed against Winston at this moment.
