After standing for 17 years, Western Connecticut's Octavias McKoy broke the record for most rushing yards in a college football game with 455 yards. After three weeks, that record also fell.

Junior running back Cartel Brooks of Heidelburg University made history by breaking the young record with his 465 yard performance on Saturday against Baldwin Wallace University. Brooks added three touchdowns to push Heidelburg to a 42-14 victory. Congrats to Brooks but come on, Division-III. Step your run defense up.

Unless Brooks somehow makes the jump to Division-I, LaDainian Tomlinson (Texas Christian) will still have the FBS record with 406 yards. He's held that record since 1999.
