If you're the Bucks, wouldn't you do just about anything to make Milwaukee an attractive destination for NBA free agents?

Apparently not. Because at the moment, the Bucks—along with the Milwaukee Admirals, a minor league hockey team, and Marquette University—are protesting a proposed plan that would result in a strip club opening up directly across the street from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The owners of a strip club called Silk Exotic Gentlemen's Club want to lease a space that is currently owned by the city of Milwaukee and open a jiggle joint there. But the Bucks and their fellow Bradley Center tenants don't like the idea of having the club within walking distance of the stadium. So they've written a joint letter to the city to try and get the club's proposal thrown out.

"Without a doubt," the letter said, "the presence of a strip club will change the way our neighborhood is perceived and hurt our business."

Eh, they have a point. Much as we would love to hear about Larry Sanders & Co. running wild at the strip club after games (or maybe during halftime?!), it's probably not the best idea in the world to put a strip club directly across the street from an NBA arena. There are a lot of families and kids who attend games at the Bradley Center. So a strip club would likely be bad for business.

How about around the corner instead?
