Leave it up to Twitter to ruin a great moment. Earlier tonight, the Boston Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in six games to win the 2013 World Series. Almost immediately after the final pitch was thrown, Sox closer Koji Uehara leapt into the arms of David Ortiz to celebrate the accomplishment. It was an embrace that completely encapsulated the melting pot that is baseball, however, some people on the micro-blogging site saw the joyous occasion and the subsequent interviews as an opportunity to get in a dig at the Dominican Ortiz and Japanese Uehara.
