Poor Ahmad Christian must be all types of confused after what happened on this play. This is precisely how great coverage looks like. Christian leaves Tennessee wide receiver Marquez North with barely any room and goes for the ball to make the play. Sadly, North had a hand free and that turned out to be enough. The freshman (!) used that hand, shoulder and a little bit of Christian's forearm to haul in the 39-yard toss.
What probably made Christian even more sick is how this catch turned out to be the one that decided the game. Tennessee kicked the 19-yard field goal to beat South Carolina, 23-21. Rajion Neal was avenged.
