Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice tore his ACL in Seattle's win agains the St. Louis Rams on Monday night. Rice will miss the rest of the NFL season and his injury will be a blow to Seattle's hopes in making the Super Bowl. Rice was third on the team with 15 catches for 231 yards and was tied for first on the Seahawks with three touchdown catches.
One positive is that Percy Harvin is set to make his Seahawks debut in the coming weeks, and that will provide a boost and replacement to Rice. Missing Rice will still obviously hurt for a team that is on fire in the NFC with a 7-1 record.
