We know that a Nismo version of the Nissan GT-R is coming, and we know that it's going to be even faster than the already brutally quick GT-R. Rumor has is that Nismo is even targeting a 2.0 second 0-60 time. If that's true, we won't be surprised to see the GT-R Nismo become the fastest car in the world around a number of circuits.

Of course, the number one circuit for lap time bragging rights in the world is the Nurburgring, and the GT-R has made a career of being a monster on the 'Ring, so we're nor surprised to report that Nismo is attempting a record run with the GT-R Nismo with former F1 driver Sebastien Buemi. That's right: a record run. The Porsche 918 Spyder's recent 6:57 time is going to be very, very hard to beat.
