You'd think that a plane crashing at an International airport would cause quite the stir. But here's the thing: You have to realize there was a crash in the first place.
A single-engined Cessna crashed last night at Nashville International Airport, killing its pilot, possibly due to difficult visibility from fog, yet it went completely unnoticed for hours. The plane caught fire and blackened the grounds where it landed, a scene that wasn't spotted until just before 9:00 a.m. this morning when a passing plane was taxied past the crash on runway 2C. It's estimated that the plane sat there for around six hours. According to News Channel 5, the 172R Skyhawk was registered to Windsor Flying Club in Ontario, Canada and was scheduled to land at the Pelee Island Airport in Ontario on Monday night.
